What does level 5 mean for weddings in Ireland
Level 5 restrictions have brought a rise in popularity of intimate weddings in Ireland. You can have up to 25 guests at your wedding. This does not include the wedding couple, suppliers or hotel staff. So many couples have had to reschedule their wedding so many times in 2020. A small wedding of 25 people will not suit every couple. However many couples are opting to go ahead with 25 guests and are reporting having an amazing night. If you have had enough of the rescheduling it is very possible to have great intimate weddings in Ireland.
Guests and suppliers are allowed to travel outside of their own counties to attend or work at a wedding. However some suppliers are not permitted. Hair and make up artists and also live music and dancing is not permitted. Level 5 weddings are to be a fully seated event.
Your wedding day can still be special
Guests are permitted to stay over. However there is an 11 30pm curfew with the reception room to be fully cleared by 11 30pm. A level 5 wedding is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. But if you want to get married it can be done by having small intimate weddings in Ireland. Your permitted suppliers will work with you to make your day a roaring success. We look forward to a return of the days of a packed dance floor and guests partying into the early hours of the morning. This is the Irish wedding we have all come to know and love!
